You're right that age equates to experience. That's probably more what "the data" in this article is saying. it's that older people have seen more... simple as that.

You're also right that half the information we've acquired is 100% wrong. I guess that's the downside of being older and having more experience. Having more experience doesn't necessarily mean it's good experience!
