That’s certainly a fair point, but that’s at least the right kind of conversation to be having with potential investors.

Without traction, you can’t be having that conversation. Or rather, you can have it, but it all exists in a hypothetical realm where overly optimistic entrepreneurs tend to wildly misjudge things.
