In my experience, most VCs really are people of integrity. As a young entrepreneur struggling to raise money, I used to be a bit more cynical about VC ethics and motivations, but, as I’ve gotten to know more and done the hard work of understanding entrepreneurship from their perspective, I better understand why they make the decisions they make, and I see that they’re rarely acting in bad faith or to intentionally deceive people.

Obviously, there are some exceptions (as there are in every industry), but, as a whole, my experiences have been good.
