I'd tweak what you've written a bit to say that product needs to be attempting to solve an actual problem.

By that I mean it's OK if, early on, the product doesn't solve the problem as successfully as it will in the future, and that's what entrepreneurs need to remember. Their first version of a product won't be perfect. Get the MVP built, accept that it's going to have rough edges, and get to work trying to get your product to market.
