I suppose that's better than an NDA, but only slightly. As an investor, someone asking me to not share their plans, etc. would make me worry they're not focused on the right things. If they think me sharing their plans with anyone could harm their company, they either have a flawed sense what to prioritize in their work or they're telling me the wrong things. Either way, it's a red flag.
