Definitely think it makes me a better teacher. Probably a better teacher than an entrepreneur, if I’m being honest, which is why I’ve turned most of my attention to “teaching” rather than “doing.”

As for why we didn’t invest in a proper platform, it was a failure of management. It always seemed easier to have me just keep coding/fixing than trying to bring in other engineers to rebuild.

And, to be fair, it was easier. But… well… hard things are important for a reason, I suppose.
