Completely agree. Certainly one of my flaws was that I *tried* to run the company for too long when I shouldn't have. I should have removed myself from it much earlier and didn't.

I didn't discuss this in the article because it would have confused the core point, but you're definitely right that I could have made better decisions for the company.
